Privacy Policy
This policy explains in plain language how the Connect Apps website handles information when you browse, use the decision quiz or contact us.
Last updated: 22 August 2026
1. Who operates the service?
Connect Apps is the name of a specialist mobile-product service. Connect Web operates the Connect Apps service and this website, and is the service-provider name you contact about enquiries and projects.
2. Website and enquiry form
This is an informational website with no user accounts or online payment. When you submit the enquiry form, what you typed is sent to our server so we can read and answer your request: your name, your company if you give one, a WhatsApp number or email, your current stage, and your brief. We pass the minimum necessary to three kinds of service provider: a spreadsheet service that organises requests, an instant-messaging service that alerts us when one arrives, and a transactional email provider that delivers that alert to us. If sending fails, the website offers an email link with a ready subject line for you to write and send yourself, and then nothing reaches us except what you wrote in that message. To protect the form we limit repeated attempts using your internet address without storing it alongside your request, and we turn contact details into a digital fingerprint to detect duplicate requests. We do not record your message content in our technical logs; a submission stopped by our spam filter is, however, kept with its content in an internal audit trail, so that we can review the filter and catch any genuine request it wrongly stopped. Consent to WhatsApp contact is optional and applies only to your current request.
3. App decision quiz
The app decision quiz runs locally in your browser: the full result appears without any details, and the website does not send your answers to a server or store them after the session. If you choose to receive the summary by email after seeing your result, we then send your email address and likely path with basic operational data (language and page)—never any of your answers—and it is handled as a contact request under section 2.
That request creates a service record in your name, holding your email address, your likely path, a timestamp, and the internet address the request came from, and your personal report page link is derived from it. The internet address here is not tracking: it is the CONSENT EVIDENCE showing when and from where you asked for it — the thing we would be asked to produce if the request were ever disputed. The report link is personal and does not expire, and whoever opens it sees your likely path and never your email address.
That record alone does not make you a marketing subscriber: an email subscription record is created only if you tick a separate box next to the email field yourself. Even then it stays in a "pending confirmation" state, and no marketing message reaches you until you confirm it yourself from a link issued for you alone; unsubscribing later is one click, final, and we do not ask for a reason. Unsubscribing from marketing never affects a service message you asked for, such as the copy of your report.
If measurement is active with your consent (section 4), we only count how many people start and complete the quiz—never any answer or result content.
4. Technical logs and cookies
Hosting and email services may retain technical logs needed for operation and security, such as an IP address, browser type, request time and requested page. Retention is subject to those services, our configuration and their operational policies.
We use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager for usage analytics, and enabled advertising platform tools to measure visits and campaign performance after consent. One panel offers separate analytics and advertising categories, with accept-all and reject-optional choices. Platforms may receive page, browser, device, IP address and cookie identifier information. When you submit a request after consenting to advertising measurement, we may send Meta, Snap and TikTok a SHA-256 hash of your email address or phone number, the conversion identifier and available click identifiers to measure the request and avoid double counting. We do not send your message, company name or service choice, and we do not sell data. Change your choice through Privacy settings; withdrawing consent stops subsequent measurement after a reload and does not erase previously sent data. Google Analytics data retention is set to 14 months. Currently enabled advertising tools are Meta Pixel, Snap Pixel and TikTok Pixel. Automatic browser matching is disabled; server matching runs only for a real request submitted after consent.
5. How do we use email information?
We use information you voluntarily send to answer an enquiry, understand the need, prepare a proposal or manage a service relationship. We do not sell correspondence data. We may share the minimum necessary information with a provider helping us deliver hosting, email or an agreed scope.
6. Retention, security and your requests
We keep business correspondence for a reasonable period needed to respond, manage the relationship and meet contractual or legal obligations that apply to the situation. We use reasonable safeguards, but no electronic transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security.
You may email us to ask about information you sent, or request correction or deletion where applicable. We may need to verify that the request comes from the person concerned before acting on it.
7. Updates
We may update this policy when website features or processing practices change. The date above identifies the current version, which applies to website use after publication.
